Know more about Priyanka -

My yoga journey began not in a studio, but in a new country. When I moved to the U.S. in 2011 with my family, yoga became my anchor, a way to stay connected to myself while embracing my role as a stay-at-home mom. I nurtured my practice in unexpected and meaningful ways, from winning online contests to a truly memorable moment practicing on my very first cruise, led by my wonderful teacher, Kim Manfredi. My passion for teaching ignited in 2017 after a transformative 200-hour yoga teacher training. Once I received my work permit, I began leading early morning classes, and my path quickly grew into a full-fledged teaching career. I further deepened my knowledge by completing my 500-hour RYT from the prestigious The Yoga Institute in Mumbai, India.

Today, I find great happiness teaching both Hatha and Vinyasa yoga, weaving yogic philosophy into each session. I also lead workshops, retreats, and Indian cooking classes, blending my passions for nourishment, culture, and wellness. For the past eight years, teaching yoga has been one of the greatest blessings in my life.

With AshtaBloom, my hope is to create a balanced world of health and wellness by sharing this journey with you.

I've dedicated my life to the fascinating world of science. As a Staff Scientist at the National Institutes of Health (NIH), my research focuses on a range of topics from immunology to the science of aging. But my passion goes beyond the lab. My goal is to break down complex scientific knowledge and make it accessible and useful for everyone. This is exactly what I do as the host of the "Science Masala" podcast, where we explore the science behind our health in a way that’s easy to understand.

To me, true well-being is a beautiful blend of mind, body, and knowledge. This belief led me to become a certified Yoga Instructor (RYT200) from The Yoga Institute in Mumbai, India, this year.

With joining Priyanka on AshtaBloom, I’m on a personal mission to share the importance of health, both physical and mental, with as many people as I can. I truly believe that by understanding how our bodies work, we can empower ourselves to make better choices and live happier, healthier lives. Thank you for joining me on this journey.
